Cape Coral to Tarpon Springs and Back

Mike and I felt the need to get out on the boat for some cruising. It'd been a busy summer doing everything but cruising, and we were ready for some time on the water. Yes, it was still hurricane season, but the tropics were quiet and we figured since we had the time now, we'd just go ahead. We weren't venturing too far afield so if we needed to get home in a hurry we could. Through our yacht club, we decided to take advantage of the Florida Council of Yacht Club's reciprocity agreement which allows us a free night of dockage at the 36 member clubs. We created an itinerary that took us to FCYC clubs to the north of us, up the west side of Florida. Below is our itinerary and links to our daily log. Enjoy!
