Golden Stays Home while We Head to Alaska on the Norwegian Star
Sunday, July 31, 2005 to Sunday, August 7, 2005

We're off to Alaska. Golden's on the wrong coast, so we're hitching a ride on Norwegian Cruise Line's Norwegian Star. She's behemoth: more than 900 feet long, she carries 2,200 passengers and 1,100 crew; and has 10 restaurants and 13 bars and lounges. Our itinerary is the Inside Passage of British Columbia and Alaska: embarking in Seattle, we then stop in Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay (detoured to Sitka), Ketchikan, and Victoria (BC). We'll disembark back in Seattle. As usual, Paige is keeping a travel diary, so come along for the ride!
