Golden's Voyages
There's nothing we enjoy more than seeing the world from the water. Our current boat is a PDQ 34 power catamaran named Golden. Why then is the site called "Golden Trawler?" Originally this page was created as a place to post our travel logs from cruises on our first Golden, a Tradewinds 38 trawler. While the current Golden can go faster than the original trawler, we still prefer to cruise at trawler speeds and experience the world at a slow pace.
Whether heading out on our own boat or traveling on a cruise ship, we like to keep a daily travel diary. I write these logs so I can remember all the places we've seen and things we've done, entertaining others with our adventures is a complementary yet secondary by-product. That said, come along for the ride!
